I hope, once again, you are through the start of the year safely and well! What a 14 months we've all had. Thankfully, I'm back in the driving seat and seeing all my lovely Pink Ladies. Unfortunately I have a lot to build up again with some clients choosing not to return, some who have sadly passed away and others I've not heard from. This time has produced some weird activity from some of my most loyal clients that remains a mystery but, I wish them well.

What a year!!!!! I hope you and loved ones have made it safely through this and reached the other side. I had the virus and it was the most poorly I’ve been in many years. I’m now fully recovered and here to laugh through another day.

So lockdown was spent reading over 30 books, getting exceptionally brown and baking for family and those without relatives around. I’ll admit it and say I thoroughly enjoyed the serenity of it all.

Just a very short blog today as I am in the process of updating this website to a more contemporary 2020 layout. Watch this space!

Also I am now stocking The Gel Bottle colours and their fabulous BIAB gel system which is AMAZING!! Based on this, I no longer offer acrylics as it was never something I enjoyed doing and feel my forte is more toward the gel manicures and getting them spot on.

Yes, I’m still here and I know it’s my first blog of the year. My bad :-(

I’ve started using a secondary product, The Gel Bottle. It’s a beautiful gel varnish system that has so many lovely colours that Shellac don’t have. I love it, as do some of my clients. I’m still promoting CND Shellac as my number one but it’s good to have a wide choice of colours for everyone to pick from.

Thought I'd take this opportunity to thank everyone once again thats been aboard my Pinkies ship throughout this year. Many new clients have joined me and my usual regular client base has remained. Its certainly not been the easiest year for me and my family but thankfully, there's been lots of wonderful clients supporting me through one the saddest starts to the year losing two beautiful and wonderful souls whom I loved dearly within three weeks of each other. So thank you again, its very much appreciated.

Wow, it’s been a long time since I’ve blogged, September last year! Not sure where the times gone but I’ve been hugely busy since then. The days just simply pass by so quickly with glorious nails.

What’s new? CND Shellac are soon to be releasing a new Shellac that requires no base coat. I’m reserving judgement as the only difference is a quicker removal time. That means less time with my clients which I don’t see as a plus point! I’ll wait and see what feedback nail techs have to say.

I know its been so long since I managed to sit at my computer and blog. It really has been such a busy start to 2017, business wise and personally. As I'm back to operating as a 'one man band' I am flat out daily. I had planned to cut my hours this year and start enjoying some leisure time at home but I'm so glad I didn't! I'm thoroughly emjoying the nailing madness and meeting so many new clients.
