Q: What areas do you cover?
A: Shirley, Solihull, Knowle, Hockley Heath, Acocks Green, Olton, Hall Green, Wythall, Tanworth in Arden, Earlswood, Lapworth, Henley in Arden, Bickenhall, Catherine de Barnes, Hampton in Arden, Dorridge, Bentley Heath, Dickens Heath and surrounding areas. Other areas in close by proximity are covered for multi/group bookings. Please call to check availability.
Q: Do you use a drill to remove nails?
A: Absolutely not. When removing any gel or acrylic products, we either use the manufacturers recommended soak off procedure, or manually buff them off, reducing damage to your nails.
Q: Do you offer treatments to children?
A: No. Unfortunately, we are not insured to work on children under the age of 16, and would highly recommend against applying such a treatment to such young nails, due to the long term damage it can cause.
Q: Do you use genuine products?
A: We only use 100% genuine products from CND and salon grade, professional acrylic.
Q: Do you offer Bluesky?
A: No, we only offer genuine CND Shellac.
Q: Can we book for parties/groups or corporate events?
A: Yes we do. Please get in touch and we can discuss your multi booking directly.
Q: Can I come to you at your salon?
A: Unfortunately, we are a completely mobile service and only offer our treatments at your place of work or home.
Q: Can I book just a normal varnish manicure?
A: We only offer gel or acrylic based treatments, due to the traveling time and expenses that being a mobile service incurs.
Q: How can I pay?
A: We accept cash, cheque or bank transfer.
Q: Do you offer chiropody or dry skin removal?
A: Unfortunately, this is not a service we offer. Although we offer a cuticle tidy as part of a Shellac, gel or acrylic treatment, we generally describe our service as being aesthetic in nature.
Q: Do you offer a spa service?
A: No, unfortunately we don't.
Q: Do you offer a cuticle tidy up?
A: Yes, this is included as standard during a nail treatment.
Q: Can I buy vouchers?
A: Yes. You can do so via the VOUCHERS tab in our main menu.
Q: Do you have many colours to choose from?
A: We currently have over 100 colours to choose from, as well as the option of a French finish.
Q: Can I have a matte finish to my nails?
A: Yes, we offer this service.
Q: I'd like an ombre finish... can you do this?
A: Unfortunately, we don't offer this as an option.
Q: We have dogs at home... do you mind?
A: Absolutely not, we love dogs!
Q: I've had my nails done elsewhere... can you remove it for me?
A: Before we can apply a nail treatment for you, any existing gel or acrylic must be removed in advance. For gel nails, your existing technician should be able to provide you with the instructions to safely remove them, usually by soaking them off. For acrylics, these would need to be buffed off in most cases. Acrylics, once removed by me could hide infections or nails that are not healthy enough for any further treatments. Because of my removal or the infill (although done correctly by me) It leaves me liable for the clients nail care immediately, to include the health of the nail, something I’m not willing to be responsible for. Removal should be done safely by the technician that applied it in the first place.
Q: I've got Shellac nails on, how do I remove them?
A: This is a very straightforward procedure. You'll need some acetone, cotton wool and tin foil. Soak small pieces of cotton wool with some acetone (available from most high street stores such as Boots) and place on each nail individually. Wrap these nails in small strips of tin foil for 10-12 minutes. Remove the tin foil and then scratch the residue off once it has begun to crystalise. If it is still hard to remove, reapply the cotton wool and tin foil for a further 3-5 minutes. If acetone is not available, use acetone nail varnish remover, but this will increase wrapping times.
