Just a quick message to everyone who reads my blogs and looks through my website.

Pinkies Gel Nails would like to wish all of my valued customers, old and new, a very Merry Christmas and a healthy 2012.

As always, this last week see's me and Natasha working flat out to accommodate every appointment. Sadly, just like last year, we are having to let some of you down as we have no more availability this side of the festive season. It seems the good name of Pinkies Shellac Manicures are still very popular.

As the title suggests, ANOTHER of my happy clients whose Shellac manicure has lasted 5 WEEKS! You can see the noticeable nail growth but all the nails are completely intact with a beautiful smile line for the French finish. Being a French finish also makes the growth less noticeable than if a colour had been used meaning an even happier customer.

How great is that?

Hi everyone

Well, its December. Tree lights are up, presents are wrapped (for some!) and its cold cold cold!!

Pinkies as always is busy this month. I have met a lot of new clients throughout November that have been recommended to me. They have been told I am the 'miracle Shellac Queen'. It seems my Shellac Manicures are lasting most ladies 4 weeks.....14 days over the recommended duration of Shellac. What can I say? I love my work, love my clients so maybe its just because I LOVE MY WORK :-)

Just thought I'd keep you up to date with just how good Pinkies Shellac Manicures are... the image above is one valued regular clients whose Shellac manicure lasted 5 weeks and 3 days! It's only guaranteed for 14 days but look how long it has lasted. She was in real need of another manicure to get the her whole nail re-coloured and painted but you can see by the growth just how well it lasts.

Just to make you all aware, I have reduced the price of the Shellac Manicure to £25 until the New Year. Lots of salons are offering Shellac now at silly prices (obviously to entice business) but I am still getting a fair few ladies calling me to re-do them. I have come across chips and lifting, both of which shouldn't be happening with Shellac. I can only put this down to poor application. I know from experience that my Shellac Manicures can last and have lasted up to 4 weeks!!! See my previous blog for further details and photographic proof.

How amazing is this? 4 weeks in, and this is how one of my wonderful clients nails look as I arrive to re-Shellac them.

What a beautiful start to October....is this the Indian Summer we have been promised for years and years? I had ordered all the winter Shellac colours but it seems you ladies are still very much in summer mode so the Shellac Manicure requests are still very much pink and french.
