Hello Everyone

Happy New Year to you all.

What a start to this year, snow! I for one hate the snow for a number of reasons, but for me this year it has meant that it has been harder for me to get to my calls on time, but I have managed. Luckily my husband's car is far easier to drive than my car in these conditions, so not all is lost. I have managed to make it to most of you and be greeted by many appreciated cups of tea so thank you :-)

As you can see I have had a website touch up, which I am delighted with (more pink!), and I have also introduced a system for everyone to buy online Pinkies Vouchers. This came from many requests before Christmas from various people wanting to buy them as gifts. This new addition to the Pinkies Gel Nails website makes the whole process easier for everyone.

Luckily I am still getting the all important enquiries and new business calls. I just hope the snow thaws soon and we can all resume a normal routine.

Bev will be joining me in February. She will have her initial training period with me and by the spring I hope she will be confident enough to build her own clientele with Pinkies.

On a personal level I am looking forward to next month. February see's my 40th birthday which I am so excited about. I have chosen to celebrate with a get together with close friends and family. It started off with around 10 people but we are up to 30 now so its going to be a brilliant night. I also have my mom's wedding which I can't wait for, there will certainly be some tears that day.

Its great to hear the comments from you all about Pinkies blogs. I am amazed when I see a new business client for the first time and they ask me questions about my wedding or New York and they have got all the details from these blogs, its wonderful to hear that people take time out to read them.

On a final note. Some of you have asked about the lady that appeared in the blog 'Acrylic Horror'. I have visited her again and although her nails still need plenty of TLC, the gel I applied before Christmas protected her nails and stayed on apart from the 3 severely damaged nails. Her nails are showing signs of really healthy growth and I hope by Spring her nails will be back to their best and looking beautiful again.

A Few Kind Words From My Pink Ladies

Thank you for an amazing job. I used to think two weeks with my gelish manicures was pretty good until I had a shellac manicure done with kirsty. 4 weeks later and Ive just had my second set done.
