Time Flies, Colours Change And You Take A New Direction

Hi everyone,

I know its been a long long time since I last blogged but Ive been so busy with work, changes and holidays.

Change. As always, Pinkies is overloaded with calls and I sought legal advice and found that I was in a great position to franchise my business. After much thought, I have decided to out source work on a 'membership' level. This means that any new nail technician wanting to work less hours would benefit from a lower tier membership and someone wanting to build a full time client base (like me) would opt for a high tier membership. At the moment, figures are still in the negation stage BUT what I can say is that once your membership is paid, YOU PAY NO MORE! All your earnings are yours, no hidden commissions or fee's. Not many businesses offer that kind of incentive.

Work. So its a new direction for me and Pinkies. Im back to sailing my ship solo for now although I do have an exceptionally brilliant nail technician who has kindly offered to take calls that I can't accommodate. Her name is Hannah and she is an incredible acrylic technician as well as a fully fledged Shellac technician. I have started building acrylic calls up again but I still can't fit everyone in. Hannah has been my life saver as acrylic really has started to take up 40% of my weekly calls.

New Shellac colours are out on the 30th but most of my girls tend to stick with their personal faves so Im not sure what colours I'll buy. You can check out my Facebook page next week to see what I decided on :-)

Holidays. We had an amazing family week in the sunshine with my mom, stepdad and mother in law. Very special week as its the first holiday with my dearest momma in 30 years!! It was great to laugh and reminisce and remember those who are no longer with us. I am now searching for a city break for July and our final holiday in the sun for September. I'll need some sun to recharge the batteries before the Christmas rush (Im already booking up now!!)

All in all its been a middle part of the year with lots of revelations. Onwards and upwards for Pinkies. Remaining number 1 on the google search and keeping our growing client base happy will always be our aim.

A Few Kind Words From My Pink Ladies

I was let down at the last minute by a local nail technician and called Pinkies. Kirsty changed her day to accomodate us and we now have THE MOST AMAZING NAILS! I realise now that I should certainly do more research in future. Pinkies really are the best, thank goodness I googled you! My nails look perfect for my wedding tomorrow.
