Hi everyone,
This blog is a 'pink' blog for sure and I hope it makes every one of you reading it take note.
Im thrilled, delighted and honoured to be the new nail technician for Breast Friends, Solihull. This is a charity for women who have or are a survivor of breast cancer. It enables them to have an hour of normality while they're going through treatment or have finished chemo and radiotherapy. I'll be visiting these amazing ladies in their homes and offering them whatever treatment they so desire.
I have spent the last 15 months with a client who has been on this journey watching her go through her bilateral masectomy, chemo and radiotherapy. Ive seen her tiredness, the visible changes and her mission to beat this! Its taught me many things but one thing its certainly bought home louder than ever.....it can happen to any one of us!!
BE BREAST AWARE LADIES. Always check your boobs on a regular basis. I do mine every month, 7 days after my period......religiously. Nobody knows your boobs better than you but, if you are unsure, GO TO THE DOCTORS. It costs nothing but ignorance could cost you your life.

Getting ready for our graduation ball, Kirsty was fantastic and such a lovely woman! We were worried about it being a little awkward but Kirsty was so lovely and chatty that it added towards the girlie pamper morning. My nails were beautiful for the event and as I had the shellac hands and toes, they stayed on for just over 2 weeks which was great.Thank you Kirsty, I have already recommended you! X
