Shellac Spring Nails!

Hi everyone,

Looks like Spring is on it's way.....at long last! Valentines day was a busy time of Shellac Wildfire (red) and Shellac Rock Star. There are some very lucky ladies out there.

The new Shellac colour range has been launched and I'm a little disappointed. It seems they decided on very sickly colours that I can't market and would be a poor investment. I have however bought the only colour that looked nice. It's called Shellac Sultry Sunset. It's a really pretty pink and I've done lots of nails this week in it :-)

It's the build up to the summer months now which means wedding fever. Fitted vintage lace wedding dresses has taken over the dress choice this year so French manicures doesn't seem to be as popular. Brides are now choosing a classier nude/buff colour to compliment this new trend. I have to agree with them, it's much nicer than the now dated French.

Paula is still working hard building her diary. One of her clients gets married in May so we're looking forward to that bridal party. Being an Asian bride, I've no doubt there'll be lots of indian tea.....yum yum!! She is still offering Calgel overlays and Shellac manicures so if I'm booked up, I'm sure she could accommodate.

Holiday plans are in place. We're going back to the Big Apple to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary in November. I'm so excited to see my favourite city once again. My daughter finishes school this year so a nice summer break in the sun is also planned after her exams. 2014 is certainly looking like a great year for us and hopefully you ladies too.

So that's it so far. Lots planned, lots to look forward to and another great year of business ahead.
