I booked Kirsty last year for my sisters (Emma) bridal party. We were all so impressed with the service, the standard of work and most of all the fact we could stay in our pyjamas. our nails lasted well over three weeks and based on that, I knew I'd be calling again.

Getting ready for our graduation ball, Kirsty was fantastic and such a lovely woman! We were worried about it being a little awkward but Kirsty was so lovely and chatty that it added towards the girlie pamper morning. My nails were beautiful for the event and as I had the shellac hands and toes, they stayed on for just over 2 weeks which was great.Thank you Kirsty, I have already recommended you! X

I was let down at the last minute by a local nail technician and called Pinkies. Kirsty changed her day to accomodate us and we now have THE MOST AMAZING NAILS! I had some vouchers from Breast Friends and decided after my chemo I would get my nails done. Im still working on my confidence after my surgery and treatment so I was nervous about meeting Kirsty. Im really not sure why I was, she is the single most caring, wonderful lady who put me at ease the minute I opened my door. She talked about her dogs, her family, holidays.....she listened to my stories and spent two hours doing my nails and just relaxing with a cup of tea. What a wonderful job she does for women who like me, have had a very difficult time this year. She helped me forget my worries in the time she was with me and we laughed so much.

Kirsty came into my life about 3 years ago when I booked to have my nails done before a holiday. Trust me, I have never had nice nails, they were brittle & weak and after going through chemotherapy I never thought I would ever have nails to be proud of. How wrong I was!!!

Kirsty introduced me to shellac & I've never looked back! Having my nails done every 3 weeks is my little treat to myself. For the first time in my life people comment on how healthy & shiny my nails are.

I've also learned that there really is a difference between a good manicurist & one who is not so good. Pinkies manicures last; apart from my nail growth my manicure looks as good after 3 weeks as it does when it's first done!

I've seen shellac advertised very cheaply but I work on the basis that if it sounds too good to be true it usually is. Kirsty is a true professional who is proud of her product and she has every right to be, she's amazing!

I phoned yesterday to enquire about tips given that my nails are bitten and short. The advice I was given by Kirsty really was amazing and proof that she isn't just another money making cowboy!

She told me that the tips need a larger nail bed to stick too and bitten nails rarely offer that. Because of this, she said it was doubtful they'd last until Monday (which is when my function is) and she wasn't prepared to come and see me for £35 and I end up with nails that don't last. I have to say, I was taken aback as most places will just do your nails, take your money and don't care.

Kirsty offered me a brilliant solution of stick on nails from boots which will cost me around £10 and will serve the purpose of my function.....I have to say, it's a brilliant idea.

My plan is to call kirsty in September and start having shellac in the hope I can have my own long nails for Xmas.

Pinkies is no doubt a first class service.....I'm still amazed at the brilliant advice I was give. Thank you so much.

I've always had my nails done and having just moved back to the area I needed a regular and reliable salon. After a very short google search I found Pinkies. I say short google search because Pinkies was literally covering page 1!!! I booked in for shellac hands and toes and I'm delighted. Not only was the service mobile, Kirsty was prompt, funny and very knowledgable in all aspects of her work.

Wow, I have NEVER had my nails done as I'm a surgeon. I have three weeks off work to enjoy a family cruise with my family and to celebrate a 'zero' birthday. I decided to go 'all out'.

I opted for French manicured hands and bright red toes. I am so delighted with the finished result. Kirsty certainly does a fantastic job and knew instantly what I'd like.

I will definitely use Kirsty again when I have time off for future holidays.

Pinkies really is the best service EVER! I was recommended by a friend who has used pinkies for a couple of years. I had a wedding to attend, I've never bothered with my nails but decided on a one off treat. Kirsty advised on colours and even spent time matching colours to my outfit. That really is the beauty of a mobile service, it's just a whole new experience!

My nails looked amazing and have lasted three weeks. I don't doubt that I'll be using pinkies again....I don't think I'll be waiting for a special occasion either!

I had cancer 8 years ago and the chemo left my nails very weak.

I have tried every treatment including shellac but nothing seemed to last. I had a very important event and wanted my nails to look nice so I decided to give shellac another try as Kirsty came with a glowing recommendation.

She tried a slightly different method of applying the shellac and 4 weeks later they are still on!!!! I am absolutely overjoyed! Kirsty didn't promise any miracles she just tried something different. It's worked. I now have beautiful nails for the first time in 8 years!!!! Ive booked in for Xmas too.....this may well be my treat every month.

Had a shellac manicure last week (14th October) and i have to say, they are amazing. Kirsty really knows her stuff and even knew from my nails that i was a diabetic. She is the nicest person, very easy going and very funny. A real treat for me.

I had my nails done at a salon in Solihull as I had been told about shelac. I did call pinkies but they were fully booked. I had a french shelac and after 5 days it chipped. When I went back to the shop they told me i was probably to heavy handed!!

I called Pinkies and one of the girls came to see me, Kirsty. She removed the old shellac which she said had been put on far to thickly. I had another french shellac and it looked a million dollars. it wasnt like the other one. That was 3 weeks ago and its still on!!!! It is starting to look a bit aged now but every last bit of the shelac is in tact. Kirsty even told me a little secret to help me get 4 weeks from it.

I can not recommend Pinkies highly enough. These salons may charge £20 here and £22 there but you only pay for what you get. Pinkies offers excellent service, treatments and advice. Worth every penny and you dont need to leave the house.

Firstly, I have never had such honest advice. I called about gels and Kirsty told me about shellac. There was no hard sell and I felt able to finish our call and have a think. I didn't deemed pressured to book up. I did call back a week later to have a shellac manicure in my very tired looking nails.

I am 3 weeks into my French shellac and aside growth it still looks pretty amazing. Kirsty does her job well and her honesty and professional advice really is a breath of fresh air.

I will continue to have my nails shellaced, you can't afford not to!

I booked my myself and 5 bridesmaids with Pinkies from a recommendation which I have to say I am glad I did.

We all opted for the new shellac treatment. Some of us had already dabbled with gel and acrylic but the finish of the shellac is nothing short of fantastic. Its natural, looks amazing and actually feels like a varnish on your nails.

I went on my honeymoon for 3 weeks after my wedding and on my return my shellac french manicure, aside the growth (which you can hardly see) is still intact and looking as shiny as it did on my wedding day. It really is an amazing treatment.

My nails are extremely brittle and break at the slightest knock, so I was absolutely over the moon when Kirsty told me about the wonders of Shellac. It is not permanent and just needs re doing every few weeks, I have just had mine done for the second time and Kirsty did them in French Manicure stylie....I absolutely love them and have had so many comments. I am absolutely delighted with my new nails. I have tried acrylics before but they look so thick and unnatural particularly as they grow. These nails are thin so I could wear them a little longer, they are lasting so well I can't believe it. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone.

I just had my nails done this morning, was undecided between gels and shellac, however with great HONEST advice i went with Shellac Nails............What can i say my nails look amazing and feel beautiful. Shellac goes on like nail polish but gives the look and feel of gel nails moreover doesnt damage your own nails at all. In fact it strenghtens and protects them from everyday damage.

Had a professional service and a great chit chat would reccommend it to ALL!!!!!!!!

I decided to have a Shellac manicure for a friends wedding as I didn't want the maintenance of gels. I was amazed at how natural it actually looked. My shellac had been on my nails for 14 days now and they still look like they did when I first had them. When I read the review on shellac I was quite dubious that a varnish could last so long, I take it back, because it does.

I have always had acrylic nails but on the advice I was given by Kirsty on the phone I soaked them off and used Nailtiques for 6 weeks to strengthen my nails. They are looking much healthier. I was going on holiday and wanted gels to make my nails look nice again. Having seen the minx nail pictures I decided to have them for a change and chose silver. I have to say they looked amazing and lasted my whole 2 week holiday. Thank you Kirsty for your fab advice its great to actually have someone do your nails that treats you as a valued customer unlike the nails bars i have used where they dont even speak english. I got my nails done last week for Prom and they looked great. Got a lot of comments how they looked much better than acrylics. I live in Coventry so had to go over to Solihul to get them done as no where in Coventry do gel nails. I have previously had acrylics which made my nails thin and week which is why i was recommended to have gel. I had my nails done by Natasha and found her to be easy to talk to and very professional. I’m and hairdresser unfortunately one of my nails is discoloured from the hair dye and I have been very self conscious because of this. I had a full set of extensions with a French finish and they look lovely and I no longer feel as self conscious about my nail and will be showing them off in the salon! I first had my overlays done by Natasha on the 4th Feb however due to unforeseen circumstances and Natasha's need to be with her family in Newcastle. I had to postpone my infill’s meaning a 4 week interval and yet they still remained.

Where do I start.....
I have always had my nails done with tip extensions and gel and the prices just seem to keep going up and up every time I went so I have ended up not having them done for a few months now. I recently decided to have a look online for a local mobile nail technician covering the Solihull area ... I emailed a few for quotes of what I wanted and waited for the replies. All the replies I had back seemed to be the same in price £60.00+ so I thought maybe I won’t treat myself!!

BUT THEN.....

I found the link for Pinkies sent an email requesting advice and some prices and was amazed!! I received an email back quickly from Kirsty about their free appointment dates/times they had available and I was amazed at the £30.00 price tag!! HALF AS MUCH to other mobile technicians and salons! I had many questions and queries about styles and nail art possibilities and Kirsty was so helpful and re-assuring and made me feel really confident and happy about booking an appointment.

I couldn't resist raving about how fabulous Pinkies sounded to my mum as she loves to get her nails done and she has now also got an appointment to get hers done with me!

In summary firstly a brilliant eye catching website with lots of very happy customer reviews and pictures! Secondly on emailing and speaking to Kirsty she is so friendly and clearly has a vast knowledge on nails etc I felt truly comfortable quizzing her with all my questions! I am so glad I found them and will tell all my friends and family!

Roll on Friday for my beautiful nails! Counting the days down!

Had my nails done for the first time with Kirsty today after having acrylics done somewhere else for almost a year.
My nails were in a pretty bad condition and Kirsty worked her magic on them overlaying them with Gel now they look so good!
It was a pleasure having Kirsty in my home as I suffer badly from anxiety and panic attacks and now struggle to go out alone so was nice to be pampered in my own home.
