Had a shellac manicure last week (14th October) and i have to say, they are amazing. Kirsty really knows her stuff and even knew from my nails that i was a diabetic. She is the nicest person, very easy going and very funny. A real treat for me.

I had my nails done at a salon in Solihull as I had been told about shelac. I did call pinkies but they were fully booked. I had a french shelac and after 5 days it chipped. When I went back to the shop they told me i was probably to heavy handed!!

I called Pinkies and one of the girls came to see me, Kirsty. She removed the old shellac which she said had been put on far to thickly. I had another french shellac and it looked a million dollars. it wasnt like the other one. That was 3 weeks ago and its still on!!!! It is starting to look a bit aged now but every last bit of the shelac is in tact. Kirsty even told me a little secret to help me get 4 weeks from it.

I can not recommend Pinkies highly enough. These salons may charge £20 here and £22 there but you only pay for what you get. Pinkies offers excellent service, treatments and advice. Worth every penny and you dont need to leave the house.

Just wanted to leave a note to say a big thank you to Kirsty for the super job she did on my nails today! I live in Doha, Qatar and am visiting a friend in Birmingham.....was thrilled to find that I could get my Shellac soaked off and replaced...and have to say it was a fantastic job!:)

I was recommended by a friend to get a shellac manicure with Kirsty. I decided to have a really summery pink and I have to say, Shellac is amazing. Apart from the growth, which Kirsty told me how to maintain, they are still looking really shiny and fab after 3 weeks.

Firstly, I have never had such honest advice. I called about gels and Kirsty told me about shellac. There was no hard sell and I felt able to finish our call and have a think. I didn't deemed pressured to book up. I did call back a week later to have a shellac manicure in my very tired looking nails.

I am 3 weeks into my French shellac and aside growth it still looks pretty amazing. Kirsty does her job well and her honesty and professional advice really is a breath of fresh air.

I will continue to have my nails shellaced, you can't afford not to!

I booked my myself and 5 bridesmaids with Pinkies from a recommendation which I have to say I am glad I did.

We all opted for the new shellac treatment. Some of us had already dabbled with gel and acrylic but the finish of the shellac is nothing short of fantastic. Its natural, looks amazing and actually feels like a varnish on your nails.

I went on my honeymoon for 3 weeks after my wedding and on my return my shellac french manicure, aside the growth (which you can hardly see) is still intact and looking as shiny as it did on my wedding day. It really is an amazing treatment.

My nails are extremely brittle and break at the slightest knock, so I was absolutely over the moon when Kirsty told me about the wonders of Shellac. It is not permanent and just needs re doing every few weeks, I have just had mine done for the second time and Kirsty did them in French Manicure stylie....I absolutely love them and have had so many comments. I would certainly recommend them to anyone.....so go on, what are you waiting for?...get them done, you will never look back!! ... Thanks Kirsty x

I am absolutely delighted with my new nails. I have tried acrylics before but they look so thick and unnatural particularly as they grow. These nails are thin so I could wear them a little longer, they are lasting so well I can't believe it. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone.

Never heard of it until Kirsty explained it on the phone. I never thought for one minute that it would last a week let alone 3!!! I thankfully booked my second appointment for cristmas and i am glad I did. Shellac is by far the best stuff i have ever had on my nails and I have had all the gels and acylic. Just a note to thank Kirsty for my recent Shellac french manicure. Previously a Calgel girl elsewhere, I was looking for a better service & most definately found it!! I've had gels for 5 years and decided to rest my nails. I was a bridesmaid at my sisters wedding and wanted nice nails but no gel maintainence again. Kirsty did me a French shellac manicure and I've just had it done for the second time. First manicure lasted 3 weeks, I'd never go back to gels again. Shellac is the best invention ever!

I just had my nails done this morning, was undecided between gels and shellac, however with great HONEST advice i went with Shellac Nails............What can i say my nails look amazing and feel beautiful. Shellac goes on like nail polish but gives the look and feel of gel nails moreover doesnt damage your own nails at all. In fact it strenghtens and protects them from everyday damage.

Had a professional service and a great chit chat would reccommend it to ALL!!!!!!!!

I decided to have a Shellac manicure for a friends wedding as I didn't want the maintenance of gels. I was amazed at how natural it actually looked. My shellac had been on my nails for 14 days now and they still look like they did when I first had them. When I read the review on shellac I was quite dubious that a varnish could last so long, I take it back, because it does.

I will be having them done again but for now I will enjoy my french manicure a while longer.

I have always had acrylic nails but on the advice I was given by Kirsty on the phone I soaked them off and used Nailtiques for 6 weeks to strengthen my nails. They are looking much healthier. I was going on holiday and wanted gels to make my nails look nice again. Having seen the minx nail pictures I decided to have them for a change and chose silver. I have to say they looked amazing and lasted my whole 2 week holiday. Thank you Kirsty for your fab advice its great to actually have someone do your nails that treats you as a valued customer unlike the nails bars i have used where they dont even speak english. I will always use you and have already recommended Pinkies to my family and freinds.

I have had by nails done by natasha a few times now and every time I am pleased with the results. I began with short stubby looking nails which I was ashamed of they are now lovely and manicured. I have recommended Natasha to friends who always comment on how lovely my nails look.

I got my nails done last week for Prom and they looked great. Got a lot of comments how they looked much better than acrylics. I live in Coventry so had to go over to Solihul to get them done as no where in Coventry do gel nails. I have previously had acrylics which made my nails thin and week which is why i was recommended to have gel. I had my nails done by Natasha and found her to be easy to talk to and very professional. I’m and hairdresser unfortunately one of my nails is discoloured from the hair dye and I have been very self conscious because of this. I had a full set of extensions with a French finish and they look lovely and I no longer feel as self conscious about my nail and will be showing them off in the salon! I first had my overlays done by Natasha on the 4th Feb however due to unforeseen circumstances and Natasha's need to be with her family in Newcastle. I had to postpone my infill’s meaning a 4 week interval and yet they still remained.

I'm really pleased with the service provided and how long they lasted!! xxx
